Othering of mother introject. When the False Self emerges, devalues the true self and discards it.
Othering failure involves a set of failures: contextualizing failure (example: nudity in hospital and nudity in sex) and empathy failure.
It is sometimes biologically determined and at times the outcome of early childhood trauma, abuse, and adverse circumstances.
Othering failure is not, in itself, a problem. It is just a psychodynamic fact.
It is a psychodynamic feature of narcissism. It is also a feature in other mental health issues. It is also a feature in otherwise healthy people with insecure attachment styles. It is also a feature in various subclinical personality styles. It is a FEATURE, not a BUG.
