YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Conscience has little to do with empathy. Conscience is inwardly-directed, empathy is directed at others. Conscience is motivational and involves guilt, remorse, reasoning, and moral judgment, empathy is observational and facilitates social interactions. Conscience is an introjected social (parental) construct, empathy is neurobiological, hereditary, and inexorable.
