6:49Now PlayingMoments after Sen. Bernie Sanders' New Hampshire victory speech, TYT reporter Jordan Chariton caught up with Bold Progressives co-founder Adam Green to talk about what Sanders' lopsided win means for the 2016 presidential race, and for the future of the United States of America.
Without endorsing Sanders or his rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Green welcomed the progressive tide that is sweeping the country, observing that the candidate who ultimately earns the Democratic nomination will have an energized and rapidly growing base of Americans who would like to see the richest nation in the world invest in its People, rather than in its banking oligarchy, oil companies, and other corporate profiteers.
Green and former MoveOn.org & SEIU organizer Stephanie Taylor are the founders of BoldProgressives.com and Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC), known for spearheading the effort to draft Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to run for president. Green pointed to Sen. Warren as the "north star" when it comes to public policy in America, without speculating as to which Democratic candidate will earn her coveted endorsement.
