Seventeen former presidents of Canadian Bar Association just ran an open letter in Globe and Mail opposing the construction of the Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa.

Would they saying a word about a similar anti-Nazi monument?

Their reasons are bizarre. So is the idea that Canada's paper of record thought this gross and bizarre letter was worth publishing.
