3:23Now PlayingEzra Levant of TheRebel.Media reports, Alberta has lost 40,000 jobs so far this year so you'd think that the NDP Jobs Minister, Lori Sigurdson, would be busy.
We've already discussed how in the midst of this difficult time for Alberta, she took time away from the important work that needs to be done here to go campaign for Thomas Mulcair in British Columbia.
Well, she's back in Alberta now.
Did she come back with a new resolve and determination to fix the problems here?
No. That would be too hard so instead she made a different announcement that is much more fashionable and easier even though it's not even the Provincial NDP's jurisdiction.
Sigurdson announced that she wants to bring Syrian refugees to Alberta but has she considered how bringing in thousands of unskilled, often illiterate and sometimes traumatized people into Alberta might effect Alberta's economy?
Probably not but it's easier to play to the media and run errands for Tom Mulcair which is a lot more fun than trying to figure out how to fix what her NDP government has broken in Alberta.
