Did you see that video of a Hungarian news camerawoman who tripped a refugee who was carrying a child? She's been fired. What she did was assault.
But Maclean's journalist Paul Wells actually sent out a tweet asking if I'd "taken up a collection for the camerawoman".
I'm against illegal immigration. But I'm not in favour of assault, or tripping a man carrying his child. I'm a dad myself...
What Paul Wells didn't know is that last month, we donated $3000 to Rev. Majed El Shafie. He literally rescues young Yazidi girls who are rape slaves of the Islamic State.
Normally I wouldn't talk about that, but I want to challenge Paul Wells to do more than just tweet.
I CHALLENGE PAUL WELLS to donate $3,000 of his own money to real refugees, and show me the cancelled cheque. And then challenge the rest of his Media Party friends to do the same.

That's an Indiegogo fundraising page. All the money will go to Majed El Shafie’s slave redemption project at One Free World International.
A senior editor like Paul Wells can surely donate $3,000. Frankly, one dollar is more than anyone in the Media Party is doing.
