3:10Now PlayingSheila Gunn Reid of TheRebel.Media reports that Premier Notley met with the Alberta Chamber of Commerce Tuesday evening.
She was trying to assure the business community that Alberta was a safe place to invest in again. But she couldn’t help herself. She just had to take a swipe at the oil patch.
Notley said Alberta has poor air quality and that it is endangering the lives of our seniors and our children. But is this true? Can we fact check the Premier in real time? Well, I did. And it doesn’t fit the NDP narrative.
I found that the air quality in Alberta was good at least 95% of the time. I found the same results looking at the air quality in Fort McMurray as I saw looking at the results in Fort Saskatchewan.
Our air is clean.
I’m proud of my province and our environmental stewardship. It’s too bad that my premier isn’t.
