5:05Now PlayingIn this report, Igal Hecht of TheRebel.Media provides some balance and missing details from an article that recently appeared in the Toronto Star entitled, "Palestinian women ‘show solidarity’ defending access to al-Aqsa mosque, clash with Jewish activists"
The article is about the "mourabitat", which in Arabic means "the steadfast". These are Palestinian women who we are told "defend the holy site from Jewish settlers who would like to rebuild their ancient temple in place of the mosques."
The Star article paints these women as heroes but as this footage shows, there's reason to believe this is just more well choreographed propaganda designed to reinforce the victim narrative of the Palestinians.
