6:52Now PlayingSheila Gunn Reid of TheRebel.Media reports, Amberlee Nichol is a third year education student at the University of Alberta.
She is the president of the Campus Pro-life Group at the University of Alberta and her group, along with John Carpay of the Justice Center For Constitutional Freedoms, is trying to bring an injunction against the university. They want to force the university to uphold it’s own student code of conduct.
According to Amberlee, her small group had been subject to ongoing harassment and vandalism throughout the 2014- 2015 school year and finally in March 2015, a mob organized itself on Facebook and disrupted a university authorized gathering they were having.
Amberlee and her group don’t want anything special. They just want to have the same rights as every other university sanctioned group. They want the code of conduct applied equally to them and to every other student out there.
They want free speech. That seems reasonable to us.
