Human Rights chief Marie-Claude Landry an "activist nut"

Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media reports: Canada's internet censorship law, Section 13, may be gone, but our Human Rights Commissions are still in the grievance business.

Yesterday the CHRC's unelected chief commissioner Marie-Claude Landry sent out a press release, telling the new Trudeau government to "repair the erosion of human rights in Canada."

But they aren't eroding -- unless you count all the ways these "human rights" tribunals abuse everyone else's.

In this press release, this civil servant issues demands the repeal of laws she doesn't like, especially ones she thinks discriminate against Muslims, even though she doesn't even have the courage to write the word "Islam."

It's her job to carry out the laws of the land -- not campaign against the ones she doesn't like! Empress Landry obviously can't be trusted to execute the will of Parliament in a neutral and objective manner. How would you feel if you had a case before these tribunals?

I’ve known since 2006 that the human rights commissions were illiberal and un-Canadian, when I was charged for showing the Danish cartoons of Mohammed.

I don’t blame a leftist hack for being a leftist hack. I blame Stephen Harper’s late Conservatives for not cleaning out these stables when they had the chance. Now Trudeau will put them to brutal use, either with Landry, or his own hand-picked patronage appointee.
