2:42Now PlayingSheila Gunn Reid of TheRebel.Media reports, we know a lot about Nathan Cirillo, the photogenic Highlander whose tragic last moments on the steps of the war memorial, united strangers and a nation. And we should.
His death was an attack on our freedom, our sense of safety and our democracy.
But who was Patrice Vincent?
His life was full of service to others. In fact that’s what he was doing when he died. He was helping a veteran when he was run down in a parking lot by a known Islamic radical.
We will reflect on many things today: Nathan Cirillo, his young son Marcus, the bravery of Kevin Vickers and the kindness of those who were with Nathan as he died.
Please be sure to remember Warrant Officer Vincent as well.
