Voices of the Nations has been using Toronto city property since 2006 to host their multi denominational celebration of Christianity. In fact, they have been using Younge-Dundas Square since 2010.
So what's the reason for the City of Toronto's sudden change of heart after all these years? The city is against proselytizing on city property.
But is this really about proselytizing? And is singing about Jesus the worst thing that happens with the City's permission in Toronto? Not even close.
