Climate change has become the new religion – and our politicians and the mainstream media aren’t telling you some of the facts.
The truth is that Earth temperatures have been changing for billions of years. And these changes are more rapid and intense than what we’re experiencing today. If you take a look at this figure – you can see that climate has been changing throughout Earth history. So why is it that climate alarmists only show a graph from 1880 to the present when Earth is 4.6 billion years old?
Climate really is changing - Rachel Notley mentioned that the Columbia Ice Field is melting, but she didn’t talk about the Laurentide Ice Sheet. This ice sheet was up to 3.2 km thick and covered North America, including Alberta, about 95,000 years ago and started to melt about 20,000 years ago until the majority of the sheet retreated by around 5,000 years ago, excluding Greenland – of course, the ice is still there.
Governments also rely heavily on data proposed by the IPCC, the International Panel on Climate Change. For one, using one source is not good practice in science and the models that they present often don’t agree. If data gathered by the IPCC varies so much, how can we call it concrete?
Earth temperatures and CO2 levels are at some of the lowest values in Earth history. If geologists and scientists are agreeing that climate change is a hoax, why is it being pushed so intensely by government? Is climate change really being used to push political agendas? We have politicians and bureaucrats telling us that it’s the worst threat to humans, an even greater threat than ISIS. Is this even feasible?
