Get ready for even bigger deficits than promised by the Liberals.
Harper warned Canadians about this, and he was right.
Just a modest deficit, the Liberals said, and only for three years, they said.
When Finance Minister Morneau was asked to confirm statements made about deficits during the election, he wouldn’t.
Instead, he said they were focused on growth and when Liberals say they’re focused on growth, what they really mean is, they’re focused on spending.
As for certainty and straight answers, it’s not likely we’ll get any. The only thing we can know for certain is that we’re all going to be paying for Liberal plans for a lot longer than expected.
