10:25Now PlayingPower density is the most important, and yet least understood, metric in the physics that determine the shape and size of our energy and power systems. In this 10-minute presentation, which I made at the Policy Orientation meeting of the Texas Public Policy Foundation on January 20, 2022, I explain why power density is so critical. I also explain the Iron Law of Power Density, (the lower the power density the higher the resource intensity) and why the best no-regrets strategy for decarbonization is N2N: natural gas to nuclear.
