Poor food choices, limited access to healthy foods and a lack of education about what you should and shouldn't eat are all part of the problem.
The American Heart Association has launched an initiative to address heart health in the African American community and have a strategy to introduce community-based solutions by offering funding to entrepreneurs, HBCU's and businesses.
