8:53Now PlayingUnions are enjoying their highest level of public support in 15 years and presidential candidates have embraced unions at a level not seen in years.
Lee Saunders, President of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) spoke with Roland Martin about the resurgence of the Labor Movement all across America and how unions "make America happen."
Saunders cited a recent poll that found "62 percent of the American public believe that we need unions in this country to be the counterbalance to the corporate greed that exists."
One of the most recent victories for the labor movement took place in Nevada where This week Governor Steve Sisolak signed a historic union law a slate of pro-worker bills that included legislation giving public sector workers the right to bargain collectively for better wages and working conditions.
