We Want To Fully Restore This Institution: Morris Brown Prez Talks Accreditation, Future Of The HBCU

In 2002 Morris Brown College lost its accreditation. Financial mismanagement issues by the HBCU's president and top administrators led to the school's accreditation being revoked by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. They have been fighting to regain it since then.

Representatives for the college announced last month that its application for accreditation was approved by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools bringing them closer to their goal.

ON Tuesday, Roland Martin spoke with Dr. Kevin James, Morris Brown College President to discuss the College's accreditation.
