Investigative reporter Alison Greene tells Roland Martin she believes the country is facing a “national emergency” around election interference.

Green, founder of Grassroots Speak and the It’s Up to Us campaign, says she has spent years researching voter-registration systems and believes the evidence points to Trump, Republicans and Russia. She says her research found anomalies in voter records and argues that Russian malware identified after the 2016 election may never have been fully removed from election systems.

Green points to St. Lucie County, Florida, where she says one in every ten voter records was missing from the registration information she reviewed in 2024. She also says she has been trying to blow the whistle since 2024 but has struggled to get attention for her findings.

Green says her team has assembled tens of millions of voter records across multiple states and is using repeated snapshots of those records to track removals and possible irregularities. She also describes what she calls “ghost voters,” registrations she believes may not correspond to real people.

The interview also turns to what can be done before the 2026 election. Green says states, candidates and voting-rights organizations can use voter-record monitoring to identify people removed from the rolls, verify questionable registrations and help eligible voters restore their status.
