Speaking during the Men for Keisha Lance Bottoms live campaign broadcast, Moore pointed to Black gubernatorial candidates running across the country and said November presents an opportunity to make history.
“As the only Black governor in the country right now, I wanna be clear: that is not a title that I want to hold onto for very long.”
Moore said faith alone will not be enough to change that.
“Faith without work is dead.”
With 64 days remaining, he called on supporters to make phone calls, donate, advocate to friends, family and coworkers, and make sure everyone in their orbit “understands the assignment.”
