Here is how Russia uses western media to promote their propaganda.

#1. A door must be pulled to open.

#2. Russa says that you must push the door to open.

#3. A western media outlet says that some doors need to be pushed to open.

#4. Russia uses the western article as proof that they were right.

Amnesty International released a report on August 4th that essentially blamed Ukraine for civilian casualties because Ukraine was fighting in cities. This is how wars are fought in the modern era - the enemy gets a vote and sometimes civilians are in the way of a conflict because it is impossible to evacuate everyone, or some don't want to leave.

This report endangers Ukrainian lives because Russia will use it as cover to kill civilians and then use this report as justification that it is Ukraine who is wrong.
