The PATRIOT Missile is extremally complex and and requires at least two Army Warrant Officers who are "subject matter experts" in missile defense. These 140A and 14K have served for at least 10-20 years and all they do is missile defense, making them walking gods of air defense knowledge.
So any missile systems sent to Ukraine would need these contractors who are most likely former 140A or 140Ks accompanying the system as subject matter experts, which could put Americans at risk.
