as posted by the channelAlan Dershowitz went on Newsmax to go on a rant about how every media outlet in America and all politicians and many public figures are antisemitic and are promoting the deaths of Israeli civilians. “The New York Times” and Bernie Sanders (a “self-hating Jew,” according to Dershowitz) are among those leading this “hard Left” charge, and all the Newsmax anchor can do is shake his head in disgust at the patently ridiculous statements coming out of this man’s mouth.
Problematically for his argument, any figure, group, or publication that Dershowitz could name who empathizes with the Palestinian people wants literally zero people to die in this conflict. Zero. If a solution that led to both sides feeling that their interests were resolved was found this very moment and no one on either side died due to the issues that are in play right now and have been in play for decades, every party that Dershowitz has come up with would be happy.
Also problematically, and leading Sam Seder to say “Eff that guy,” and many more things about Alan Dershowitz, far more Palestinian civilians will be killed than Israeli civilians the longer this goes on. Israel has more power here, by far, and to pretend that that is not the case is nonsensical, no matter what your opinions are.
