YouTube Description
as posted by the channelSam Seder and Emma Vigeland watch a video of Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) outdoing himself once again. Tom Cotton pretty much outdoes himself every time he opens his mouth, in one way or another. It’s pretty amazing. Amazingly terrible. Arkansas, you’re an entire state. You can do better.
But here it is: Tom Cotton, on the Senate floor, ACTUALLY ASKS WHY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS IS SHARING A BUILDING WITH HAMAS. He takes Israel at their word that Hamas took out some office space in the same building with the international media, and ignoring Al Jazeera, asks why the “intrepid reporters” at AP ignored their “neighbors” and “knowingly allowed themselves to be used as human shields.”
We think that Tom Cotton has a fundamental misunderstanding of the “human shield” concept here. DUDE. It doesn’t STOP someone from bombing you. It stops the intended target, in this case, Hamas, in their office building, from dying. Instead, the AP offices are bombed and those people die. He then refers to Hamas’s activities as “misdeeds.” WHAT IS GOING ON, MAN??? Don’t you have aides who can read? Do they all hate you this much? Apparently so.
