5:21Now PlayingBill Hemmer and Dana Perino are anchoring the burning hot @FoxNews desk, coming off of interviewing some man who does a podcast called "What the Hell Is Going On With Critical Race Theory," which is guaranteed not to deliver on the promise of its title. Bill Hemmer decides this is a good time to reminisce, and he says that he "remembers at 20-years-old going to Trier, Germany, and trying to find the home of Karl Marx. Because... ya know. 1848, he wrote 'Mein Kampf.' I wanted to know what it was all about. So, that's part of the education of America if you so choose." Dana Perino cannot stop this man, and he's just attributed Hitler's manifesto to Marx, and Fox is only friendly with one of those legacies. The Majority Report crew discuss.

Sam Seder: Bill Hemmer, Dana Perino on fox tuesday uh bill hemmer waxing nostalgic about his uh trip to germany about 20 years ago that he took um prime time you know uh hammer at times has occurred to me that uh he strikes me sometimes as a guy you might bump into at let's say a bar and uh a guy who might bump into a bar at like two in the afternoon and he's been there uh supposedly on his lunch break that starts at 11 30. but here is a bill hammer on fox news on his podcast what the hell is going on with uh critical race theory is very good very informative thank you mark for picking up on that on the princeton point here you and i have discussed it at the college level this is this fair game go ahead and do it right i mean i remember 20 years old going to trier germany and trying to find the home of karl marx because you know 1848 he wrote minecomp i want to know what it was all about so that's part of the education in america if you so choose so uh that's that more to come green part of the education of america he has that line oh dana's jane is like let's go like i was a spokesperson at a white house what is this and so his argument is like you know college everything's fair game you gotta you gotta learn them about the movie they corrected the next segment by the way he misspoke he came back he misspoke but you know what's even fascinating about that is not just that obviously i mean he was talking about did he come back and say we're talking about the communist manifesto he said later on the program he said i misspoke 1848 karl marx the communist manifesto but like what's funny about it to me is that they just have all of these evil objects and ideas just in that brain right that they're supposed to hit and he he had a a wire crossed uh in the fox news robot uh uh programming and thus he had he he got the he got it wrong yeah yeah what would been amazing is if hitler had written in 1948 that would have been incredible 1848 1748 what are your powers you're doing it this reminds me of when i was in uh when i was in sardinia and i was looking for uh i was looking for a gromsey's house because i wanted to see what led to the unabomber manifesto
it is it is just a fascinating that he's got this all in like a one bin and we're just going to pull something out that's wrong there was this guy named rob port who's like a north dakota sort of uh right-wing blogger and he went to the white house for a tour and he made national news because he took a picture of i think das capital was in the white house library or something like that and he's like the obama's put das kapital in the women's library it's been there since like the 90s right well it would be even funnier if he thought he claimed on air that obama wrote das kapital let's do the uh correction childhood but uh judge mark windham told him to back off that he'd have a chance later to cross-examine durst on berman's murder wow what a case thank you william we'll see where that goes william elijah ness there in l.a watch that trial here i misspoke 1848 karl marx communist manifesto all right and often not mine if you wrote mineconf in a different year or something right that's what he says are really hitting the date 1848 is when he wrote the communist manifesto he records wrote mein kampf much much later
