YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOne of the few bright spots for Republicans on election night was how well they did in Florida. This has caused many to declare that Florida is no longer a swing state and is an unredeemable red state. But maybe we should be looking more at what the Florida Democratic Party is doing wrong than writing off the whole state as a lost cause.

Hi, is it me? yeah, it is you. Hi, my name is Felipe. I'm from the central Florida area. Felipe is from the central Florida area. what's on your mind I'm just calling because I remember you guys talking to somebody I forgot who it was. It was another caller from Florida and he was complaining about how Florida's politics have to be for the Democrats exactly to be the Washington generals of U.S politics. That's Mike from Florida. Long-time caller Mike from Florida. Who I actually met recently in the flesh. Right. Yes, he was very astute about it. He's always been a step ahead of how bad the Democrats in Florida are. Well, this was actually my first election you know touching grass I guess you could say. Because this was the first time I got outside, knocked on doors, and all that. Excellent. And like I just want to know what is going on in this state because knocking doors I get the feeling that people aren't you know like just monsters you know like Mega hats and all that. Especially in these redder areas. Or maybe it's just because I'm not a bleeding-heart liberal. As I've noticed but what I'm trying to get at is why is it that you know Val Deming Christ lost so badly in these areas that you know you knock on the doors and you see these people and they're just not you know that Ultra conservative. So in other words you're saying like why aren't Democrats connecting? When your experience when you go out and knock on these doors is that these people could be amenable. They don't they're not coming across as completely you know we're knuckle-dragging mouth breathers who don't get anything. I mean I mean that's what I'm. Okay I mean I think the problem is that the Democratic party is not in Florida my sense is that organizationally they're not going out and doing any sort of Coalition building during the off Years. A. B they also don't seem to like you know Charlie Crist is gonna bring down anybody on the ticket with him. He seemed like a Joe Bidenesque candidate where he's like “oh you're here to vote for DeSantis but not for me”. yeah, that was the kind of vibe I got. yes. and you know I think Not only was he sort of like just presenting himself as the anti-Desantis.
