1:15Now PlayingAs they did last week, Senators Menendez, Lautenberg and Bill Nelson today again asked unanimous consent to pass the Big Oil Bailout Prevention Liability Act, which would raise the liability cap from $75 million to $10 billion. While oil continues to spill into the Gulf Coast, Sen. Inhofe's reaction is "let's wait and see where that cap should be." Democrats are prepared to take action in order to protect taxpayers and small businesses throughout the Gulf but they need the cooperation of their Republican colleagues. There's no time to wait. We have to act now.
