"When oil flows into our Gulf waters as fast as our gasoline money is flowing to the Persian Gulf, it's time for a new energy policy here in America," said Larry Schweiger, President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. Outlining the key aspects of the bill, Kerry said, "The American Power Act will restore America's economy, reassert our position as a global leader in clean energy technology. It will create millions of jobs."
