Murray, Riccelli, Raise Alarm Republican Health Care Cuts Hurt Eastern and Central WA

U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, hosted a virtual press conference laying out how the budget reconciliation bill that Republicans passed through the House of Representatives on May 22nd will be devastating for Washington state’s health care system and the 1.9 million people across Washington state who rely on Apple Health, as well as the more than 270,000 Washingtonians who access coverage through the state’s Affordable Care Act marketplace, Washington Healthplanfinder.
