6:15Now PlayingSenator Tim Scott questioned Education Secretary Nominee Miguel Cardona. He pointed out that while elites in Washington are some of the staunchest opponents of school choice, they avail themselves and their families of the benefits of high-quality private education. He noted that President Biden and former President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and several senators on the other side of the aisle all attended private school themselves or sent their kids to private schools. Quality education allowed these lawmakers to rise to the halls of power, while the poorest Americans are not afforded the same opportunities to achieve their fullest potential. School choice opens paths to success for all students.
