'The Killing' creator on the new challenge writing his first book

6:06Now PlayingThe creator of the hit Danish series The Killing has branched out from television to become an author with his book The Chestnut Man.
Soren Sveistrup told Sky News how it was a “multiple-layer story” about a killer who leaves figures made of chestnuts and matchsticks at the scene of his crimes.
Speaking to Dermot Murnaghan, Sveistrup said the UK success of The Killing took him "completely by surprise” but he wanted a “new challenge”.
He said: "I've been doing TV series for many years and it was time now to try again but I feared it was just as lonely as I feared [the writing experience]."
His TV thriller was set in Copenhagen and revolves around Detective Inspector Sarah Lund (Sofie Gråbøl).
Each season follows a string of murders and the programme lasted for three series creating the tag of Scandi Noir.
