It comes as the sentencing of two of Britain's youngest ever knife killers gets underway after the murder of a 19-year-old man in a random machete attack last year.
Two 12-year-old boys were convicted in June of killing Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton.
The West Midlands is the worst region in the UK for knife crime. Sky's Becky Cotterill went there to make sense of the problem.
