as posted by the channelAzerbaijan's lead negotiator has told Sky News there is reason to remain optimistic about climate action despite the election of Donald Trump as US president.
The COP29 talks begin on Monday in the capital Baku.
But the choice of Azerbaijan as host is controversial with the country "committed" to raising gas output which it says is necessary to meet EU demand.
