Arab Israeli activist and former IDF combat soldier Yoseph Haddad explains why he rejects the accusation that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
Haddad points to the enormous number of Israeli strikes, the destruction throughout Gaza and the territory’s population figures to argue that Israel’s objective is defeating Hamas—not exterminating the Palestinian population. He also examines Hamas’s reported casualty totals, estimated terrorist deaths and deaths from natural causes while discussing the civilian-to-combatant ratio.
