2:08:16Now PlayingIn today’s JCS Inspired True Crime video, we are going to see an interrogation involving a supposedly solved cold case--and how in the rush to solve it, law enforcement is willing to cover up information proving a man’s innocence.
On December 3, 1957, the town of Sycamore, Illinois was rocked by the disappearance of 7 year old Maria Ridulph. Maria had begged her mother to be allowed to go outside to play in the snow, and even though it was already dark, her mother agreed. Maria’s friend Kathy was with her, and she later said that they were approached by a man in his early twenties, calling himself Jonny. The man gave Maria a piggyback ride, and asked the girls if they liked dolls. Kathy ran back to get hers to show him, and when she returned, the man and Kathy were gone.
As with every JCS Inspired case, we'll also find a bit about the psychology behind the interrogation and what is most likely happening in the mind of Jack.
