The Chinese Communist Revolution II. Early Attempts & The 1st United Front (1921-27)

How did the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) take over China? In this video (Part 2 of 6), we recount the earliest attempts of the CCP to amass power, culminating in the '1st United Front' where the Party merged with the liberal-nationalist KMT. In particular, we'll highlight the inexperience and weaknesses of the CCP's leaders, and how that was quickly punished in the brutal cockpit of early 20th Century China.
