Russia has been secretly helping Iran develop advanced supersonic cruise-missile technology that could eventually threaten US aircraft carriers and other warships.

In Cold War 2.0 #84, historian Tarik Cyril Amar joins Kevork Almassian to examine an extraordinary Financial Times investigation into a covert Russian-Iranian program known as C430L.

Beginning in 2023, Russian missile specialists reportedly worked with Iran on ramjet propulsion technology, analyzing Iranian flight tests and helping Tehran improve an advanced propulsion system for possible anti-ship and land-attack cruise missiles. No Russian-assisted missile is known to have entered operational service yet.

The revelation raises a much bigger question: is Russia beginning to retaliate for Western weapons supplied to Ukraine by transferring strategic military technology to America's adversaries?
