A Michigan man awakens in the middle of the night to discover that his castle is the target of a home invasion. As two intruders search through the home for valuables, the man arms himself with a pistol, and waits behind his bedroom door, his girlfriend still sleeping in the bed behind him.
The bedroom door slams open, and the man and intruder instantly exchange gunfire. Both men are hit—and even the sleeping girlfriend catches a round in the back. All the hits are serious but non-lethal. The now shot intruder fled but was soon arrested by police and is now charged with 21 felonies.
We’ve got the video of this home invasion and bedroom doorway gun fight, and we’re going to break it all down in today’s show and see what lessons can be learned.
