BUT THEN!! The day after this show was put to tape, the House voted to INCREASE THE CHECKS TO $2,000!!! But not so fast! While Trump has been pushing for the increase, the measure is unlikely to pass in the Republican-led Senate, because Mitch McConnell would have to lead that charge, and he and his fellow ghouls think that we normals would spend the money irresponsibly on things like…debt. So! We might all get $600 soon. Or we’ll get $600 in, like, a while, it could take a while. Or we could get $2,000! Or we won’t get $2,000. Or they’ll fight about it for a while, we’ll have to wait an indeterminate amount of time, no one will know when any money is coming, people will lose their homes and businesses unnecessarily, and normals won’t get the vaccine until…May-ish?
