8:39Now PlayingTucker Carlson is coming hat in hand to apologize for helping get Trump elected. But it’s hard not to look at this “apology” as being hollow or the hat that is actually a hood.
Are we all supposed to pretend now that Tucker Carlson is a good guy? Did everyone forget about the decades of white supremecist garbage he spewed on his Fox News show every day? It’s guys like Carlson who created the environment that allowed for Donald Trump to get elected president in the first place. Well, now that Trump has gone full mad king with Iran, Tucker apparently has regrets. Or he needs to appear like he does.
On a recent episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, he said, “We'll be tormented by it for a long time. I will be, and I want to say I'm sorry for misleading people…” He was fine with the Trump regime’s racist agenda, but now that they are starting wars in the Middle East he regrets it. Apologies are all well and good, but how about some actions Tucker? Actually do something tangible to undo what you have done if you are really sorry.
