as posted by the channel

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is set to address students at the U.S. Army War College in Pennsylvania Wednesday morning.

Hegseth's comments in Carlisle, Pa., come as he faces mounting scrutiny over a second Signal chat where he reportedly shared sensitive military information with his wife, brother and personal attorney. The Pentagon chief, with support from President Trump and the administration, has maintained that the messages were "unclassified" and "informal" and blasted the media and ousted employees for the criticism.

Still, Democrats and at least one Republican have publicly called for him to step down amid the controversy.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. EDT.
