Christian caller Stevie tries to defend traditional Gospel authorship but runs into serious problems when confronted with Biblical scholarship. Paul explains how Matthew and Luke copied extensively from Mark word-for-word, making them non-independent sources. Stevie struggles with the fact that Acts calls John "unlettered" while claiming he took notes during Jesus's sermons. The conversation shifts to evidence standards, where Stevie argues Paul demands too much proof for supernatural claims. Paul counters by explaining he'd be happy to believe with proper evidence - like Jesus actually showing up. Stevie's "free will" argument gets demolished when Paul points out Biblical characters who saw miracles but still rejected God. Ironically ends with Stevie admitting not everyone gets the opportunity to know God, basically proving Paul's point about lack of informed consent.
