Brandon from Hawaii calls in claiming he wants to discuss America's future but quickly pivots to defending Christianity. Despite invoking 1 Peter 3:15 about "always being prepared," he admits he just woke up and can't actually provide evidence for God's existence. He misrepresents Sam Harris's moral philosophy, obsessively references Jordan Peterson as "a star of ethical behavior like Jesus," and tells Seth he'd convert to Islam "if it meant the world would be better" rather than if it were true. Matt grows increasingly exasperated as Brandon offers excuse after excuse for his lack of preparation and coherent arguments. When challenged on whether he cares about truth or just social utility, Brandon pivots to vague metaphorical theology. After fifteen minutes of circular reasoning and name-dropping, Matt calls him out for being insincere, and Brandon finally admits he's pulling a prank to promote a website before getting banned.
