Kevin from Oregon calls in claiming he's "leaning toward" Christianity as a moral foundation and wants to compare it with secular humanism. The problem? He can't define what the Christian worldview actually is — even after being asked multiple times. When host Matt finally pins him down, Kevin claims the Bible's teaching to "love thy neighbor" implicitly condemns slavery, but Matt points out the Bible explicitly permits buying slaves from neighboring nations, and Jesus never once condemns the practice. When Kevin insists there are "many verses" where Jesus condemns slavery but can't name a single one, the call ends fast. A textbook case of someone defending a position they haven't actually read.
