He advanced RFK Jr's bid to run HHS. He voted for the Medicaid cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill. He endorsed Trump and defended him at every turn. And Trump still endorsed his opponent and celebrated when he lost.
Now Cassidy is gone, and the person replacing him will vote for cuts that make that bill look mild. The voters who celebrated firing the doctor on Saturday are the same ones who'll be making the 45-minute drive to the nearest maternity ward. This is the FAFO.
