Campaign ads included people raising questions about why Trump did not release his tax returns, suggesting it was "because he is deeply involved in dealing with Russian oligarchs."

There were also social media posts, in which Clinton herself posted, "Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank."

The Grand Jury investigation just launched by the Department of Justice focuses on what happened next, after Donald Trump won the election but before he took office.
