Lawyers seek closed hearings and sealed evidence in Tyler Robinson case

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk in September, is expected back in court Tuesday.

Lawyers will present arguments to close portions of a hearing and seal some evidence after a judge denied a request to block media access to the courtroom.

Robinson's defense argued that the public's access to livestreams, videos, and photos from the pretrial hearings would impact his ability to have a fair trial with impartial jurors. Judge Tony Graf Jr. ruled that the defense's arguments were not sufficient to ban all media, but the court would consider closing hearings on a case-by-case basis.
