Jeremy Hunt was Health Secretary under David Cameron and Theresa May, and oversaw controversial cuts to the health system as part of the austerity project which led to the junior doctors' strike in 2016.
Under Boris Johnson - whom Hunt ran against in the 2019 Conservative leadership race, he chairs the Health and Social Care committee.
