Of significant interest is the upcoming Madison County Republican Party meeting on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 930 a.m., where the precinct committee members will elect their new leadership team (the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary of the Party).
The current Party Chair, Russ Willis, is not seeking re-election. However, he wants his handpicked successor, Kelli Heuer, to become the party's next Chair. Madison County Auditor Rick Gardner has announced he is running for Vice-Chair.
But the good guys have a plan as well! Lisa Wittkamper Rinker and Dr. John H. Aukerman have announced their intentions to run (Rinker for Chair and Aukerman for Vice-Chair).
For the first part of this episode, Rinker and Aukerman will join Bilbrey and Callahan to discuss why they want to take up this fight. What they have to offer, what they hope to achieve, and much more.
Then, after Rinker and Aukerman bow out, Callahan and Bilbrey continue discussing politics in Madison County. This is an episode you will not want to miss!
