Elon Musk's own fans turned on him after he sent out a tweet endorsing Kevin McCarthy for speaker of the House. His tweet was mostly flooded with never kevins who refuse to support him, who are conservatives. But there were a few democrats sprinkled in who were trying to add in some troll to troll Elon.
He tweeted: "Kevin McCarthy should be Speaker". And then after his tweet had around 50,000 replies, many of them going after him, he tweeted this out: "Subtle, but I am beginning to suspect opinions differ on this matter …
If not McCarthy, then seriously who?"
One conservative responded to the first tweet: "Twitter needs a button called “Who Asked You”"
Another said: "Kevin McCarthy only cares about his donors, lobbyists and the Washington D.C sewer.
He’s the perfect example of everything that’s wrong with our country."
